What is this task?
You will see a short text on the screen. Read it aloud in a natural, fluent voice.

What you do
Read the whole passage aloud once, clearly.
Step-by-step approach
  1. Preview: identify commas, phrases and unfamiliar words.
  2. Practise-silently one keyword per phrase.
  3. Take one deep breath; start immediately when recording opens.
  4. Speak at a steady pace, articulating consonants clearly.
  5. Do not restart if you make a small slip — continue naturally.
Timing
40 s preparation, up to 40 s to record.

Preview the text during preparation; identify phrasing groups and difficult words. Speak at a natural pace — clarity beats speed.
