The Victorian Selective Entry High Schools exam is one of the most competitive assessments an Australian secondary student will sit. A structured 12-week timeline turns talent into a testable score.

Weeks 1–4: Diagnose and rebuild fundamentals

Sit a full timed diagnostic. Score by section. The following three weeks focus on the two weakest sections, running short daily drills rather than long weekend sessions.

Weeks 5–8: Timed section practice

One timed section per weekday. Weekend reserved for essay writing and long-form reading. This is the phase where speed under pressure is trained.

Weeks 9–12: Full mocks and confidence

Two full timed mocks per week under exam conditions. Debrief errors within 24 hours. Reduce study volume in the final five days — sleep and confidence outperform last-minute cramming.
